So, I started on the next item on my To-do List…formatting the book for submission. Honestly, I didn’t really think it would be a big deal. I mean, in my mind it would be like converting an MS word file over to PDF before attaching it to an e-mail. *shakes head* If only. The formatting procedure has a level of complexity equal to that of separating conjoined twins!…Who thought up this? Why do they pretend like normal people can do it? I was at it for 30 minutes before the file went haywire and I about had a conniption. Seriously, I had to drink a cup of tea to calm my nerves after I finally gave up.
Currently, the shredded remains of my excruciatingly painful attempt at re-formatting is sitting in the e-mail inbox of a professional eBook formatting guru. *Sighs* with relief. Meanwhile I am free to move down to the next item on my ePub to-do list.
The GOOD NEWS: Still on schedule to get Pre-sales up on October 19, 2015 and ePublish on November 2, 2015.
